Rocky Mountaineer Train Journey

Is there a better way to see Canada than on a luxury train service, with unparalleled views of breathtaking landscapes?
Could this be your’Once-In-A-Lifetime’ trip.
Rocky Mountaineer: a truly moving train journey!
Fly into Vancouver, in the province of British Columbia, to pick up your Rocky Mountaineer departure point or board your train from one of the other designated starting points like Banff, Lake Louise, or Jasper.
Rocky Mountaineer is a luxury scenic train service operating in Western Canada and the American Southwest, known for its daylight-only journeys through iconic landscapes. It offers four distinct routes, two in Canada and two in the US, showcasing dramatic scenery like canyons, mountains, and rivers. The train is celebrated for its glass-domed coaches, world-class service, and opportunities to spot wildlife.
You will not sleep on the train; instead, you'll be transferred to a hotel at the overnight stop.
The SilverLeaf Service level gives you everything you need and more to experience the majesty of the Rocky Mountains in luxury: panoramic views, delicious meals and beverages brought right to your seat, friendly Hosts and complimentary baggage transfers. And miles and miles of memories.
The our GoldLeaf Service, indulge your senses with gourmet meals prepared by Executive Chefs, and expansive views through the panoramic windows of a bi-level glass-dome coach to the Canadian Rockies.
Regionally-inspired Onboard Meals, Snacks, & Beverages
Each day onboard, you’ll enjoy gourmet meals selected from menus featuring dishes with locally sourced ingredients inspired by the lands we travel through. If you are travelling on one of the Canadian routes, you can choose the bi-level, GoldLeaf Service coach where breakfast and lunch will be served in the lower-level dining area. Their culinary team refreshes menus seasonally, including guest favourites like lemon & honey buttermilk pancakes, Alberta striploin steak, and crispy skin Lois Lake steelhead.
If you are travelling on the single-level SilverLeaf Service coach, available on all their routes, your meals will be served at your seat. Breakfast might include baked French toast with wild mountain berry syrup; lunch might be local braised beef short rib or Fraser Valley chicken.
Pair your meals with local wines, craft beers, or just a relaxing cup of tea. All beverages, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic, are included. While onboard, you’ll also be treated to morning and afternoon snacks. Chat with other guests, make new friends, and share your experiences while enjoying a delicious treat.

Breathtaking Scenery
Of course, the highlight of your days onboard will be the jaw-dropping, photo-worthy scenery, some of which can’t be easily accessed other than by our train. Best of all, you won't miss a minute of the stunning views outside your window because our trains only travel during daylight hours. You can even step outside - our GoldLeaf Service coaches feature larger outdoor viewing platforms to get closer to the action, while SilverLeaf Service coaches are equipped with outdoor vestibules.
We often say we travel at "picture-perfect speed", winding along at a leisurely pace and slowing down at scenic spots to allow our guests to capture the best photos and take in the moment. Follow along on the route map provided onboard, or read ahead to see what’s coming up around the bend.
