Full of Eastern Promise

In the past we have visited Dubai, Oman, Abu Dhabi and Egypt, staying in lovely luxurious hotels like the Fairmont Bab Al Bahr (Abu Dhabi) and Atlantis The Palm (Dubai), giving us the feeling of being treated like royalty, with attentive staff and stunning rooms, whilst we’ve holidayed there.

We couldn’t choose a single favourite Middle Eastern destination, but during our time in Abu Dhabi, we visited the iconic Yas Marina Formula 1 circuit and spent an unforgettable afternoon and evening on a Desert Safari. Riding in 4x4 Jeeps, we dune bashed across the golden sands on our way to a desert camp, where we enjoyed camel rides and a traditional Arabic barbecue dinner. The evening came alive with a captivating Tanoura dance, belly dancing, and an exhilarating fire show. Our kids had a fantastic time getting henna tattoos and sandboarding (snowboarding) down the sweeping desert dunes.
