The Maldives is definitely one of our favourite destinations. It offers indulgent, 5 Star luxury. We have visited numerous stunning resort islands and found it to be unlike anywhere we have experienced before, taken aback by its natural beauty. Located in the Indian Ocean, The Maldives is southwest of Sri Lanka and India, about 460 miles from the Asian continent mainland.
However you arrive at your island resort, whether it be by speedboat or seaplane from Male, you’ll be greeted on the arrival jetty by smiling staff waiting to welcome you.
From there you will taken to reception for a cooling towel and a refreshing cold drink whilst being briefed on the islands amenities and pleasures that lie ahead.
From there you’ll probably be transported by electric buggy for a short tour of the island before being dropped off at your villa, from where your holiday truly begins.
