Barceló Montecastillo Golf shares its facilities and services with Barceló Jerez Montecastillo, which features spacious dining areas and a terrace. The resort has a snack bar and two restaurants serving up traditional cuisine: “El Tabanco” Bar, “El Lagar” Restaurant and “El Minarete” Restaurant, which is located in Barceló Jerez Montecastillo & CC.

El Lagar Restaurant

Splendid restaurant serving traditional Andalusian cuisine, combined with international dishes. Recently refurbished with an extension of the terrace with views of the golf course. If you fancy a more casual meal, a coffee or a snack, El Tabanco Snack Bar will be delighted to attend to your needs.

Vitalcorner

The Barceló Montecastillo Golf offers a unique and revolutionary service. For breakfast, in addition to offering a full range of healthy ingredients and superfoods, various types of freshly-prepared smoothies are also served. The smoothies are one of the best fitness options to be enjoyed first thing in the morning, to provide an extra energy boost, or for the anti-ageing or detox benefits which are now so in demand.

The 4 main ingredients used to make these smoothies are fruit and vegetables, algae such as spirulina or wakame, plant-based dairy alternatives and superfoods such as chia seeds, linseeds, collagen or pollen among others.

The hotel also has Akadama Pool Bar, which is open in the summer season during pool opening hours.

U-Spa

You can relax in the water circuit or exercise your body and mind in the fitness area.

Our extensive and fully equipped facilities, recently redecorated in an elegant western style with a traditional far eastern influence, include 5 treatment rooms, one of which features a private whirlpool bathtub. Pools and Entertainment

Barceló Montecastillo hotel offers its guests 4 outdoor pools and 1 indoor pool in the SPA (see additional charge) to ensure that stays in the hottest months are accompanied by refreshing swims.

Of the 4 outdoor pools, one is adults only, one is a semi-Olympic size for families, one is for children with a water park, and another is a new pool in the area of the Barceló Jerez Montecastillo and CC hotel.

All pools are surrounded by sun loungers and parasols, and they have seasonal opening hours. The pool area has been completely renovated.

Note: the Adults Only, Family, and Jerez Montecastillo pools remain open depending on the season. The wading pool, water park, and Barcy Club are available from June 1st to September 15th. Dates are subject to change.

GOLF

Barceló Montecastillo provides golf lovers with a full range of facilities to play this sport.

The hotel has an 18-hole, par 72 golf course, designed by Jack Nicklaus, which hosted the Volvo Masters for 5 consecutive years and the Peugeot Tour for 3 years.

A supplement of €36 will be applied for each Green fee 18 holes throughout the day, upon booking. Players must present a valid golf association licence in order to play.

The hotel offers:

Free lockers at the golf course
Daily use of a buggy for 18 holes and Callaway/Taylormade clubs (nearly new). Rates may apply.

What does the All Inclusive programme include?

Breakfast, lunch and dinner at El Lagar restaurant, either inside or on the terrace with views of the golf course. Breakfast is buffet style and lunch and dinner are either buffet or set menu (depending on the season) and include local alcoholic drinks, soft drinks, tea and mineral water.

El Tabanco Snack Bar serves a selection of alcoholic drinks, soft drinks, teas and mineral water from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. (subject to change depending on season).

Children’s entertainment in July and August (subject to daily programming).

Access to the U-Spa Montecastillo water circuit will be included per person per stay, with prior booking (treatments not included).
